QR Code Generator
Create QR codes for links, text, Wi-Fi and contact cards.
QR code
SVG for print and large formats. PNG for slides and email.
Private by design. QR codes are rendered in your browser. Nothing you enter — including Wi-Fi passwords — is transmitted or stored, and the codes are static with no tracking redirect.
Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The data is encoded in the pattern itself, so the code works forever and does not depend on this site staying online.
Can I track how many people scan the code?
Not with a static code, because scans go straight to the destination. Tracking requires a dynamic QR service that redirects through its own server.
Which error correction level should I choose?
L for screens, M as a general default, and H for printed codes or when placing a logo over the centre. Higher levels tolerate more damage but produce a denser pattern.
Is it safe to put my Wi-Fi password in a QR code?
The code is generated locally and never transmitted, so the tool itself is safe. Remember that anyone who can photograph the printed code can read the password.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
SVG for print and large formats, since it stays sharp at any size. PNG for slides, email and social media where a bitmap is expected.
About the QR Code Generator
These are static QR codes: the payload is encoded directly into the pattern, so they never expire, need no account, and route through no redirect service that could track scans or be shut down. Free generators that shorten your URL first are giving you a code that stops working when their service does.
Four payload types are supported. URL and plain text are literal. Wi-Fi uses the WIFI: scheme that Android and iOS both recognise for one-tap joining. vCard encodes a contact card that adds straight to the phone address book.
Error correction adds redundancy so a partly damaged or obscured code still scans. Level L tolerates about 7% damage and level H about 30%, at the cost of a denser pattern. Use H if you plan to place a logo in the centre or print onto a surface that may scuff; L is fine on screen.
Download SVG for print and anything that will be scaled; PNG for slides, email and social posts.
